The media helped to spread propaganda that Greek citizens were responsible for this, when in fact the government exhausted the money for personal gain. NO. The Greek people are poor for almost 2 years now, and become even poorer by the day. The government spent the money on luxury items like cars, houses and land. - Banks have a responsibility

- The media propaganda and reveal the facts as protests, demonstrations, deaths, beatings, police brutality, political scandals, etc.

- To find a job is rare and even if you find the pay is not enough

- Shops are closed

- The houses are abandoned

- People fleeing from Greece to find a better life abroad

They have children collapsing in school because they haven't had food.  A father of three killed himself because he couldn't feed his family and felt like a failure because he couldn't get a job!  There are more austerity measures that the Greek "government" (they were not elected...Merkel and Sarkozy forced one of their Eurocrats onto Greece) are going to force onto the people.

People cannot afford to keep a roof over their heads, they can't afford to heat their homes, they can't afford food. How can more austerity measures help. Those in power don't care, they can afford all those things.

 I think it's time for Greece to do a two fingered salute at the Eurozone and pull out. Get the Drachma back and try to help their own people.

This bill has been passed. So what does it mean...it means any American can be judged as a terrorist for just having more than 7 days worth of food in their homes (or elsewhere). The bill passed by Congress absolutely DOES NOT exempt citizens. Section 1031 reads, "A covered person under this section" includes "any person who has committed a belligerent act".

- Confusingly, Obama previously threatened a veto for 1032, but NOT 1031. 1032 is UNRELATED to imprisoning citizens without a trial. He has never suggested using a veto to stop Section 1031 citizen imprisonment. In fact, it was requested by the Obama administration. Watch the video for proof.

The Red Cross said if it finds the conventions have been violated, they may ask game  developers to conform to international laws or encourage governments to create laws that regulate the gaming industry, Kotaku reported.

But international law professor at the University of New South Wales Anthony Billingsley told news.com.au the Red Cross risked trivialising the conventions of warfare.

Mr Billingsley also said there is no way the conventions could apply to individuals because they were state-based.

“There are concerns about the blurring of fantasy and reality,” he said.

“There’s a danger of war becoming a spectator sport. People need to realise that this is real stuff.”

The International Committee of the Red Cross is empowered by the Geneva Conventions to protect victims of international and domestic armed conflicts.

Long and tough road ahead for work to decommission Fukushima nuclear reactors

How many of you have forgotten about Fukushima ?  Well the radiation from that is affecting all of us!

It is expected to take more than 30 years to decommission crippled reactors at the Fukushima No. 1 Nuclear Power Plant, and workers tasked with the difficult mission would have to venture into "uncharted territory" filled with hundreds of metric tons of highly radioactive nuclear fuel, experts say.

After the expert committee of the Japan Atomic Energy Commission (JAEC) compiled a report on procedures to decommission the No. 1 to 4 reactors at the Fukushima No. 1 Nuclear Power Plant on Dec. 7, the actual work is expected to move into high gear after the turn of the year. As in the case of the 1979 Three Mile Island accident, the workers would try to remove melted nuclear fuel after shielding radiation with water, a technique called a "water tomb." But the work would have to be done in a "territory where humans have not stepped into before," said a senior official of Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPCO), the operator of the troubled Fukushima nuclear power station. The work is so difficult that it is expected to take more than 30 years to finish decommissioning the reactors.

The key part of the decommissioning work is to remove a total of 1,496 fuel rods from the No. 1 to 3 nuclear reactors and 3,108 fuel rods from nuclear fuel pools of the No. 1 to 4 reactors. The government and TEPCO are expected to start decommissioning the reactors early in the New Year after unveiling detailed plans around Dec. 16 that the nuclear plant has been brought under control by achieving a stable state called a ''cold shutdown.''


According to experts, filling the containment vessels with water completely to shield radiation is the "foremost and biggest hurdle." In order to carry out the task, it is necessary to spot and repair damaged parts in the containment vessels. But it is not an easy task. Up to about 5,000 millisieverts per hour of radiation -- lethal levels -- have been detected in the reactor building of the No. 1 reactor.

In the work schedule announced in April, TEPCO said it would bring the nuclear plant under control by filling the reactors with water. But subsequent analysis of the accident suggested that the No. 1 and 2 reactors had holes of up to 50 square centimeters caused by hydrogen explosions and the like. In the work schedule announced in May, TEPCO said it had scrapped its plan to repair the containment vessels and suspended the work to fill them with water.

Moreover, workers have been fighting an uphill battle to remove crumbled fuel. The reactors had been running without cooling water for a long time, and most of the fuel melted and apparently dropped into the containment vessel from the bottom of the pressure vessel at the No. 1 reactor.



A single fuel rod contains about 170 kilograms of uranium, and a simple calculation suggests that about 254 tons of uranium in the reactors alone must be recovered. The distance between the upper lid and the bottom of a containment vessel is up to 35 meters. From that far away, the work has to be done to chop off and recover melted and crumbled fuel by using remote controlled cranes. Furthermore, the melted fuel is mixed with metal from fuel pellets and reactor parts.

"The decommissioning work should be moved up and finished promptly," said Fukushima Gov. Yuhei Sato. He submitted a 6-item statement to the JAEC's expert committee. But at the meeting on Dec. 7, the expert committee did not give any in-depth response but simply added to its report that "We will urge people concerned to realize it as soon as possible." Kyoto University professor Hajimu Yamana, who heads the expert committee, said on Dec. 7, "Because no one has seen the inside of the nuclear reactors, the timing of starting the work to recover nuclear fuel mentioned in the report is only a nonbinding target."

'Remains of 274 US troops dumped'

Reports say the US has dumped the remains of nearly 300 American troops killed in action overseas in a landfill in the state of Virginia.


According to the Washington Post, report on Wednesday, the incinerated partial remains of at least 274 American troops killed in Iraq and Afghanistan had been sent to the King George county landfill in Virginia.

The US Air Force is reported to have dumped the cremated partial remains in the landfill between 2004 and 2008.

The report was based on database information at the Dover Air Base mortuary, where the remains of most war fatalities return.

The actual number is considered to be far more than what the military admitted to, before reportedly halting the practice in 2008.

The US military concealed the corpses' dumping from families who had authorized the military to dispose of the remains in a dignified and respectful manner.

Officials say there are no plans to alert the families of the deceased soldiers.

The landfill disposals were never formally authorized under military policies or regulations.

In another report, investigators found body parts of soldiers stacked up in the military morgue in Virginia. Some of the remains appear to have been stored months or even years awaiting identification and disposal.

According to icasualties.org, about 7000 American soldiers have died in Afghanistan and Iraq so far.

Gari-Lynn Smith, the widow of an Army bomb-disposal expert killed in Iraq, began asking the military in 2007 what happened to some of his remains that were identified after his funeral the previous year.
After four years of letters and phone calls she received a letter from the mortuary in April informing her that her husband's partial remains had been disposed of in the King George County landfill, reports the Post.
"I hope this information brings some comfort to you during your time of loss," read the letter.

Infowars.com has received a document originating from Halliburton subsidiary KBR that provides details on a push to outfit FEMA and U.S. Army camps around the United States. Entitled “Project Overview and Anticipated Project Requirements,” the document describes services KBR is looking to farm out to subcontractors. In a letter addressed to Congress, S. Floyd Mori, the national director of JACL, said the NDAA is the first time that Congress has scaled back on the protections provided by the Non-Detention Act of 1971. Mori said the legislation, if enacted and put into use, would be reminiscent of the unconstitutional indefinite detention of Japanese Americans during World War II

Hopefully someone who was or is in the Catholic Church can help me here.

First I wasn't researching  the Catholic Church, I was looking into the mark of the beast. This in turn led me to the Catholic Church. 

Some people say that the Pope and his cardinals are the beast, that the Catholic Church is the beast. ?  The number 666 is because of the Babylonian worship of the Sun god, and the 666 was to help them stave off attacks from their god.

The Pope is the beast because he alone can change the Scriptures     (I don't know if he has or hasn't)

That the church also changed the sabbath from a Saturday to a Sunday. I have never understood why if the bible  is or was written as the Torah as the base why we have Sunday as the day of worship yet in the Torah it's a Saturday and that is still done today.

I know King Henry decided he wanted rid of the Catholic church because he wanted a son and divorcing is a no no in the Catholic Church, so he started off The Church of England.

But then we come to the Ten Commandments and they all differ, the Torah, the Catholics, and the Protestants...

No wonder people look to other things to replace this with.  If these three major religions can't agree on the basics what chance does that give us mortals???

Blacklist Bill allows Feds to remove websites from Internet

The U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary Committee will conduct a hearing on the controversial copyright enforcement bill, the Stop Online Piracy Act, on Wednesday, the committee has announced.

 Introduced last month, the Stop Online Piracy Act, or SOPA, would allow U.S. law enforcement officials to seek court orders to stop domain-name registrars, online ad networks, search engines and payment processors from doing business with websites accused of enabling or facilitating copyright infringement. The bill would allow copyright holders to seek court orders to block the allegedly infringing sites if their efforts to get online advertising networks and payment processors to stop doing business with the sites fail.

A number of digital rights and tech trade groups have objected to the bill, with some critics saying it would allow copyright holders to target sites with user-generated content, including YouTube and Twitter. Although the bill is focused on foreign websites that sell pirated music and movies and counterfeit goods, some critics have said that broad language in the bill would allow copyright holders to target U.S. sites that don't take enough steps to limit copyright infringement by their users.

 Supporters of SOPA include the Motion Picture Association of America, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Better Business Bureau (BBB), the National Consumers League, the Fraternal Order of Police, the National Association of Attorneys General, the AFL-CIO and the Business Software Alliance.

FDA approves computer chip for humans

Medical milestone or privacy invasion? A tiny computer chip approved Wednesday for implantation in a patient’s arm can speed vital information about a patient’s medical history to doctors and hospitals. But critics warn that it could open new ways to imperil the confidentiality of medical records.
The Food and Drug Administration said Wednesday that Applied Digital Solutions of Delray Beach, Fla., could market the VeriChip, an implantable computer chip about the size of a grain of rice, for medical purposes.
With the pinch of a syringe, the microchip is inserted under the skin in a procedure that takes less than 20 minutes and leaves no stitches. Silently and invisibly, the dormant chip stores a code that releases patient-specific information when a scanner passes over it.
Think UPC code. The identifier, emblazoned on a food item, brings up its name and price on the cashier’s screen.

Seems the US Government really want to keep track of it's citizens! It does say voluntarily, then it will be mandatory, those who don't have it will not be able to recieve medical aid!  Remind anyone of the mark of the beast as talked about in Revelations. I wonder how many other Governments are going to introduce this?

 Now this chip must be able to be upraded automatically, for more "medical" data to be added as and when needed.  Yeah okay...how about a few years down the line (or maybe not if 2012 doomsday happens) that you can't buy any food or water without this.  Those that don't have it done will starve or be hounded. Whose to say what this chip can or can't do. It may be able to gauge your feelings, read your mind, listen in to your conversations. All governments want full control of the masses. We already have CCTV that can see us and some can hear us. Soon it will be neighbours calling up and reporting neighbours, friends reporting friends, family reporting family bit like Nazi Germany. Those of you who think this can't happen look around you, it's happening now!

Those of any other faith than what TPTB say is the real faith will be hounded, and don't think Christianity or Islam is that, because it isn't!

Don't bother looking on Google sky/ Skymap/Wikisky or the Windows telescope because they all have the same area blacked out!  Now why would they do this, why cut a chunk out of the sky, this can only be seen in infrared.  So if there is a planet up there by the time we on earth see it (and the Southern Hemisphere is meant to see it first) then it will be too late.  Do you know that TPTB ate building underground facilites for them and the elite to use...not for us the population though. Senators Demand the Military Lock Up American Citizens in a “Battlefield” They Define as Being Right Outside Your Window

While nearly all Americans head to family and friends to celebrate Thanksgiving, the Senate is gearing up for a vote on Monday or Tuesday that goes to the very heart of who we are as Americans. The Senate will be voting on a bill that will direct American military resources not at an enemy shooting at our military in a war zone, but at American citizens and other civilians far from any battlefield — even people in the United States itself.
Senators need to hear from you, on whether you think your front yard is part of a “battlefield” and if any president can send the military anywhere in the world to imprison civilians without charge or trial.
The Senate is going to vote on whether Congress will give this president—and every future president — the power to order the military to pick up and imprison without charge or trial civilians anywhere in the world. Even Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) raised his concerns about the NDAA detention provisions during last night’s Republican debate. The power is so broad that even U.S. citizens could be swept up by the military and the military could be used far from any battlefield, even within the United States itself.
The worldwide indefinite detention without charge or trial provision is in S. 1867, the National Defense Authorization Act bill, which will be on the Senate floor on Monday. The bill was drafted in secret by Sens. Carl Levin (D-Mich.) and John McCain (R-Ariz.) and passed in a closed-door committee meeting, without even a single hearing.
I know it sounds incredible. New powers to use the military worldwide, even within the United States? Hasn’t anyone told the Senate that Osama bin Laden is dead, that the president is pulling all of the combat troops out of Iraq and trying to figure out how to get combat troops out of Afghanistan too? And American citizens and people picked up on American or Canadian or British streets being sent to military prisons indefinitely without even being charged with a crime. Really? Does anyone think this is a good idea? And why now?
The answer on why now is nothing more than election season politics. The White House, the Secretary of Defense, and the Attorney General have all said that the indefinite detention provisions in the National Defense Authorization Act are harmful and counterproductive. The White House has even threatened a veto. But Senate politics has propelled this bad legislation to the Senate floor.
But there is a way to stop this dangerous legislation. Sen. Mark Udall (D-Colo.) is offering the Udall Amendment that will delete the harmful provisions and replace them with a requirement for an orderly Congressional review of detention power. The Udall Amendment will make sure that the bill matches up with American values.
In support of this harmful bill, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) explained that the bill will “basically say in law for the first time that the homeland is part of the battlefield” and people can be imprisoned without charge or trial “American citizen or not.” Another supporter, Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.) also declared that the bill is needed because “America is part of the battlefield.”
The solution is the Udall Amendment; a way for the Senate to say no to indefinite detention without charge or trial anywhere in the world where any president decides to use the military. Instead of simply going along with a bill that was drafted in secret and is being jammed through the Senate, the Udall Amendment deletes the provisions and sets up an orderly review of detention power. It tries to take the politics out and put American values back in.
In response to proponents of the indefinite detention legislation who contend that the bill “applies to American citizens and designates the world as the battlefield,” and that the “heart of the issue is whether or not the United States is part of the battlefield,” Sen. Udall disagrees, and says that we can win this fight without worldwide war and worldwide indefinite detention.
The senators pushing the indefinite detention proposal have made their goals very clear that they want an okay for a worldwide military battlefield, that even extends to your hometown. That is an extreme position that will forever change our country.
Now is the time to stop this bad idea. Please urge your senators to vote YES on the Udall Amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act.
